Maroulla is our Group Director of Publishing and Media, and brings years of experince to the LDA team. Her key focus will be developing and creating an exclusive on line and printed business and lifestyle magazine. For her writing is as fundamental as breathing. 

After studying Law and completing her Solicitors exams she followed her heart rather than her family’s guidance and pursued a creative path. She has spent her entire career in branding, advertising and publishing.  She worked has worked in various global advertising agencies including Ogilvy & Mather and Publicis before setting up her own agencies. She started off as a copywriter and moved up the ranks to creative director and head of corporate narrative.  

During her time in advertising, she worked with Terence Donovan, Duffy, Hans Zimmer and many others. She had taught advertising, creative and commercial writing and branding in many places including The School of Communication Arts and Farnham. 

As a journalist, her range is broad and covers food and drink (specifically wine which she has studied intensively), the arts, fashion, travel, law, politics and business.  She has written for GQ, Full Pour. Academie du Vins and is the primary journalist on City Solicitor for whom she also hosts a podcast. She also writes creatively and has had many short stories  published including the best-selling book Bruise and Dishonour.  When she isn’t writing she’s normally in a theatre, an art gallery, on a plane or studying wine.
