Ocean Point
The London Diplomatic Association (LDA) are pleased to officially announce that Ocean Point is our first resort in Antigua to become a resort business partner. Lord Pestano and Lady Perry had the pleasure of staying at the resort during March and celebrating his birthday. The owners and staff made him and Lady Perry feel very special and put on a special day and evening for his birthday. It is a resort we would certainly recommend to our corporate and diplomatic clients.
If you would like to book a holiday at this fabulous resort we would highly recommend it.
At times you’ll get the impression you’re in the heart of Italy – other times, there’s no denying, you’re in the Caribbean, a resort exclusively for adults only. Ocean Point Resort & Spa is a kick-off-your-flip flops fusion of the idyllic Med and the Exotic Tropics. From it`s gardens, where the bougainvillea flower grows amongst palm trees, to its fabulous Sottovento Beach Club, where the chefs use fresh island produce as you dine just steps from the sea. This may be a far cry from home, with its huge beachfront pool and two seductively sandy coves. The family owners have created a true homely space, complete with a resident cat and dog, informal, yet with comfy guest rooms, and day trips to Antigua’s Prickly Pear Island for snorkelling and for turtle spotting.

Sir Trevor presented Lord Wesley with a bottle of 10 year old English Harbour Reserve Rum. distilled in Antigua. Lord Wesley celebrated his 65th birthday at Ocean Point. The owners and the staff pulled out the stops to make it a memorable occasion. Lord Wesley`s private table was decorated, with a bottle of bubbly and an amazing cake was made by the pastry chef.
OFFICIAL REVIEW BY THE LONDON DIPLOMATIC ASSOCIATION
As the President of The London Diplomatic Association (LDA) I am happy to give a glowing review of my time at Ocean Point Resort & Spa. From the moment Lady Perry and I arrived at the resort, we were greeted with friendly faces by the reception staff and a welcoming rum punch. The resort is intimate and traditional, with an adults only policy. The staff were exceptional and were always on hand to assist. The menu changed daily and there were many options. If you like fish there were some excellent local fish on the menu. At lunch you could sit on the beach and have cocktails and your lunch brought to you. The rooms are comfortable with a fridge and we were given a welcome bottle of Prosecco and a welcome card from the owners and staff. An ideal place in the Caribbean to celebrate a special occasion, anniversary or wedding, as I did for my birthday.
I would highly recommend this resort to our diplomatic members, business partners, and sponsors. Ocean Point will offer preferential rates and where possible an upgrade on your booking. You do not need to be a member or partner of the LDA to take advantage of this offer.
